Does Kawasaki Disease happen genetically?

0

Kawasaki Disease is not a genetic disorder, though the parents who had Kawasaki Disease when they were infant make their children vulnerable but this don’t mean that their new born babies will have it. Also if its twins and one sibling has it there are chances that other twin might have too, this could be genetic as well as because they share same nurture. Also no gene has been identified regarding what causes the disease.
