Does Kellogg grant deferrals?
Once admitted, applicants may send a deferral request in writing to the Director of Admissions. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, and very few are granted. Candidates should apply for the year in which they plan to enroll. A detailed explanation of the request and appropriate documentation are required. Candidates requesting deferrals will be notified after all decisions from the three application rounds have been rendered. In certain situations, the Admissions Committee may offer deferred admissions to candidates who would benefit from an additional year of work experience.
