Unfortunately more often than not, claimed ergogenic benefits are not backed by clinical studies but rather by smart marketing, misleading information, exaggerations, or anecdotal reports. The aim of this case report is to examine the potential ergogenic benefits of Kre-Alkalyn® in the training of the iron cross and planche. This case report is based on the results of a 25yr old male with 7yrs adult gymnastics training. The subject ran though a 4 week training program which incorporated iron cross and planche specific exercises 2—3 times a week, while supplementing with Kre-Alkalyn®.
