Does meat prepared in a “George Foreman Grill” taste better than other indoor methods?

I’m in the same boat with my apt. complex, no more bbqing, and it sucks IMO. I have a George Foreman grill and a Hamilton Beach open type electric grill. Neither compares with a bbq – whether it be gas or charcoal. It’s just not the same. George’s grill is a pain to clean if you put a sauce on anything – unless maybe if you have the one with the removable plates that can go in the dishwasher. The open grill is easier to clean and I prefer it since it’s more like grilling. I think both are more like broiling in the oven than bbqing on the grill. They’re good for carmelizing the sugars of the food more than the broiler… and for the effect they’re ok, but they just don’t compare to an actual bbq. They’re also good for smoking up your apartment if you do use them indoors for greasy foods like burgers. I gave up and went back to using the broiler in my oven.
