The walk in tub’s do not have a DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT number through Medicare. To our knowledge Medicare requires that patients purchase their walk in tub of choice, install the tub and then submit the invoices for reimbursement. Each case is reviewed separately and this process may take as long as 3 months to complete.
