Does memory foam have a signature density?
No. Memory foams come in a variety of densities, which mostly depend on the manufacturer. There is usually a compromise between a product’s density and thickness. In general, thicker memory foams have lesser density than thinner ones. The most common densities popular with consumers are 5, 4, 3 and 2.5 pounds per cubic foot (pcf), or kilograms per cubic meter.
