Does moet champagne keep longer in a fridge or is it best kept at room temperature?
You should always keep champagne at as low a temperature as possible. If “room temperature” is reasonably low, it is probably ok for a week or two. If you live anywhere warm it will swiftly be ruined. A friend of mine once witnessed the deliberate destruction of hundreds of cases of champagne that had been left in the heat on an airport tarmac in Africa – The importer tried some sample bottles and they were all wrecked – thousands of pounds (literally) down the drain.
