Does my command need DoD CIO approval of our IT Exchange Program prior to our implementation of ITEP?
Each Implementing Organization that elects to participate in the DoD IT Exchange Program must provide a copy of its ITEP plan, and contact information for its ITEP program manager, to the Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer for reporting purposes. The Implementing Organization is the final approval authority for its own program.
