DOES MY HCG LEVEL INDICATE TWINS PLEASE HELP!?!?!?
HCG numbers are just that-numbers. There is a wide range that can be considered normal, and everyone is different. You cannot definitely know if you’re having multiples just by that number. In some cases women will have higher levels with multiples; however, that will also depend on you; what your levels are with a single baby compared to what you have now. Even then it’s not an exact science. HCG is usually taken into consideration only when checking levels to see if they are consistently increasing to confirm a pregnancy or decreasing to confirm a miscarriage; it can’t even be used to estimate how far along you are.
