Does my plasma tv have burn in?

Hard to tell from here, cause I can’t see it! If you mean will you get burn-in from using your PS2 system with your Plasma TV, and your Plasma was manufactured with in the last 2 years? Then is answer is only if you do everything wrong. By wrong I mean, you do noting but play PS2 games during the TVs first 200-300 hours of use. You leave the game pause with the Plasma still turned on for a hours on end. You don’t use the anti-image-retention feature built into the set. If you make all of the above wrong moves, then yes you can get burn it.

You can play video game consoles on Plasma TVs. Its fine. Just don’t leave the game on pause or in the menu system for extended periods of time. If you want to walk away from the console for a few minutes, just turn off the TV (while leaving the console on). Or change the input to regular cable TV or something while you’re away. Also, don’t play video games on the TV for the first 20-50 hours of operation of the TV. After that go ahead and game away. Also, if you’re really concerned, go into the menu system for the Panasonic. I think its under the Setup menu. There should be an anti-image retention feature in there. If you are concerned you have a bit of burn-in, let that run for 20-30 minutes. It should clear things up.
