Does Natural Balance Shake have any sweetener?
Oriflame’s Natural Balance Shake is based on completely natural nutritional ingredients in optimal balance (egg, peas, whey, apples and fibers). Natural aromas and the best sweetener that is approved by the EU today – sucralose, have been added in order to create a positive taste sensation of the composition while using a minimal level of carbohydrates. There are currently no natural sweetener alternatives approved by the EU that do not create high blood sugar peaks. Sucralose originates from natural sugar, but it is approximately 600 times sweeter. This implies that using natural sugar would take approximately 40% pure sugar per portion to achieve the same taste sensation. That alternative would not have been healthy for the body and blood sugar levels.
