Does Pat Meehan Want to Join the Tea Party Caucus?
Springfield, PA –Representative Bryan Lentz, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, today called on Pat Meehan to state clearly whether he would join the Tea Party caucus in Congress, after its leader, Representative Michele Bachmann, appeared on national television to throw her support behind his campaign yesterday. Working families in Delaware County and the 7th District have a right to know if he will fight for them or for right-wing ideology. Bachmann, the founding member of the Tea Party caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives, appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” show last night to back Meehan’s campaign.
