Does PawMatch adopt out animals that are sick?
No, PawMatch does not intentionally adopt any animal that may be sick. The organization takes all standard precautionary measures used today in animal welfare to make sure that an animal is healthy and ready for adoption. From time to time, all animal facilities and shelters can be subject to an outbreak of disease that can affect primarily young animals prior to receiving any vaccinations. Such incidents are isolated and they are handled with great care and respect.
