No. There is no charge to the recipients for a PC Outreach computer, and we make every effort to reduce or find underwriters for related costs such as Internet access. The whole idea of PC Outreach is to get a functional computer with a full complement of software and Internet access into the hands of people who otherwise would not have a computer in their home without any substantial cost to the end user. Should the user wish to add software or accessories or upgrade various components at their expense, that is their right as the machine is theirs to keep.
