Does POM Wonderful pomegranate juice contain Vitamin C?
No, POM Wonderful does not contain Vitamin C. Vitamin C is very fragile, and the pasteurization process unfortunately eliminates all Vitamin C from our juices. Because we want to offer a 100% natural juice, we choose not to “add back” other sources of Vitamin C, as many other juices do. Right from the beginning, we knew that the special thing about our juice is that it contains very high levels of antioxidants called polyphenols. POM Wonderful pomegranate juice should be enjoyed as part of a healthy, balanced diet and drinking pomegranate juice does in no way negate or replace the need for Vitamin C.
