Does protein powder work?
Yes and yes. I don’t like the sound of “shakes” though, it should just be powder. Eggs also work. The cholesterol is not a problem unless you have high cholesterol already. Make sure it has at least 80-90% protein, preferably isolate, otherwise you’ll be eating a lot of unecessary fats and sugars. And they definately work. Protein is a the real secret to a healthy body for both athletes, bodybuilders, those who train fitness, and even for endurance and dieting. Protein helps build muscle, and incredibly helps burn fat. A study I read yesterday suggested a high-protein diet could increase insulin tolerance by as much as 350%. That is freaking phenomenal and backs up all my personal experience with putting people on protein diets.
