DOES PWI ACCEPT AND PUBLISH UNSOLICITED MANUSCRIPTS/STORIES?

Generally speaking, no. We have a stable of freelance writers that we use regularly. We generate ideas for features and columns as a staff and then assign them to freelancers. We do, however, add new writers to our staff when the need arises. And while it is important, obviously, for potential PWI writers to be wrestling fans, they must be, first and foremost, excellent writers. Therefore, if you have no professional writing experience or writing skills, but you have the history of every WWE and NWA title committed to memory and can recite the results of every match in WrestleMania history in order, you are not a serious candidate to be a writer for PWI. For serious inquiries about freelance opportunities at PWI, e-mail Editor-in-Chief Dave Lenker at londonpub@kappapublishing.com. Be prepared to send a resume and writing samples.
