Does Sandisk SANSA fuze have a restart button?
All I do when my Sansa Fuze freezes is hold up the power button for about 2O seconds. When this is done, release and it should say “Goodbye” on the screen. When you turn the Fuze back on it will take only a moment to refresh its memory. Try to wait if you are recording something important though, sometimes it will just start back up again, no harm done!
