Size poses different challenges. Maybe the bidding system is better for larger institutions. The jury’s still out on that one. Though pay packages are on the rise, I’ve noticed that for many schools the number of job offers students are receiving isn’t necessarily following that upward trend. How about for Simon? Well, I haven’t received the final averages for this year yet. But I can tell you that this year the number of job offers ranges from 1-10. As of May 15, the number of offers was up 29%. I don’t have a preliminary average as of yet, but I can tell you it’s running at about two offers per person. It sounds like companies have grown more competitive, trying to get students to sign on the dotted line as early as possible. What does that mean for you?
