Does Slip Grip work as well as the existing Acid Washes and other harsh chemical treatments that are professionally applied due to the hazardous chemicals.?…
A. Yes and much safer. Slip Grip works better then professionally applied chemicals especially on Polished Marble, Granite and Glazed Tiles and many other polished surfaces like porcelain and fiberglass tubs. If you find that it does not increase your slip resistance to a safe easy to clean finish, from the slippery finish it is now, you may need a stronger type Chemical Wash like Super Slip Grip II, Industrial Strength for glass tiles, glass blocks, etc; when dullness or shine is not needed and or a deciding factor. It is always best to try the less expensive Slip Grip Treatment first as it will work in 99% of all applications and for ADA Compliance projects. Note: Slip Grip is not compatible with all pre-acid washed surfaces and is suggested to always be used as the first and Safest alternative choice.
