I have a sterling silver pendant from Tiffany’s that I wear on a necklace, and it doesn’t tarnish at all. Like any silver though, the exposure to oxygen causes it to slowly blacken, but you only need to clean it once every 6 months if you really care about that. Just use a silver cleaner, and you’ll be good. As for chlorine, I’m not quite sure… but I think it’ll be fine. Buy a silver cleaner if you’re really worried.
