Does Tallgrass use “needling” methods to tenderize its beef?
No. Tallgrass does not “needle” its beef. The grass-fed diet our cattle consume is completely compatible with their digestive systems, resulting in the production of naturally tenderized cuts of beef. We have no need to mechanically tenderize our cuts of beef. This helps avoid potential E. coli or other bacterial contamination that has been connected with this process in some cases.
