Does TCCF funds go to the parents or guardians of critically ill children?

0

No. TCCF works with Canadian medical institutions, primarily the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children, and contractually obligates itself to pay specific medical costs relating to the care of children whom we agree, by consensus, to sponsor. Under CCRA guidelines, TCCF can only disburse money to public medical institutions that have a charitable arm. We cannot fund care in private medical institutions, nor can we meet any other expenses relating to the child or the guardians, such as accommodation, meals and airfare.
