The hardware revision and firmware version of 8871 ADPCM server cards may not display correctly in an IMACS when viewed from the management console. Cards with F/W version 1.36 will display version 0.2. This condition is caused by the CPU Host F/W and is present in all Host F/W levels that currently support the ADPCM. It will be corrected in a future Host F/W release. Additionally, it has been observed that the ADPCM hardware revision number may display as Revision A1 when in fact it has been designated and labeled as A2 by Zhone. This situation is caused by a card revision discrepancy between the ADPCM card manufacturer and Zhone. Corrective action has been identified and Zhone is working with the supplier to correct the disparity.
