Does the airBUG™ e1 really fit all adults?
The airBUG™ e1 is presently only available in one adult size. It is called a one size adult adaptable isolation device because the Tongue Shield can be trimmed around its edges or vertically in half and it still functions effectively at the trimmed size. In addition, the Bite Spring can be moved forward or backward in the mouth to fit a range of adults. However, not all adult patients will accommodate the airBUG™ e1 due to individual differences in jaw range of motion and gag reflex.
