The Aquafina purification process uses the best technology available to purify water. It is an accredited and validated process that meets or exceeds government standards and has been verified by independent experts. The seven-step RO-7 process includes reverse osmosis, ozonation and carbon filtration. Each of these steps – even individually – is designed to remove manufactured molecules such as pharmaceuticals, as well as naturally occurring substances such as heavy metals.
