Yes you should see a doctor or a health visitor(depending where you are) However, if its any help new born babies skin can peel off(a bit like sunburn) sometimes their skin gets very dry and once they are in the big wide world it starts to shed. Your doc can recommend a suitable cream or lotion to help. Hope that helps.
