One of God’s Ten Commandments is “thou shalt not kill.” Only God can judge the world with truth and His all-knowing ability. The Lord says, “I will have mercy upon whom I will have mercy.” God says that He is the Potter and we are the clay and He can make good pots and bad pots. He showed us this with Pharaoh where God hardened the heart of Pharaoh and would not let the children of Israel go until God came and killed the first born of every Egyptian’s family. The Egyptians were idol worshipers and God made an example out of them. When God makes Himself known through judgment to man, the sinners and unbelievers of this world always suffer. Moses strictly told Pharaoh that God said “Let my people go.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of Almighty God. It is a fearful thing to disobey God. The “fear” of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Few people fear the Lord any more and God will rise up and make Himself known sooner than man wants.

Hardly. It essentially says that God has a license to kill, which is fair enough because you’re only living because of Him anyway. He at times delegates that right, but hasn’t done so to humans since the time of Israel, when people lived under a country (and hence a set of national laws) ruled by Him. There’s no indication that He’ll ever give humans that right again – while the Bible speaks of a war against evil in the future, it speaks of it being carried out by Jesus and some angels, not by Christians. (2 Thess 1:6-8) If possible, as far as it depends upon you, be peaceable with all men.
