Does The Buffalo News have programs that use the newspaper in school classrooms?

0

The Buffalo News, through its Newspaper In Education department, has a variety of programs we provide to schools to utilize the newspaper in the classroom. Teachers who participate receive newspapers, the cost of which is underwritten in large part by The News. In addition, we provide free curriculum guides and handouts for their students. Many local businesses, individuals and organizations sponsor newspapers in the classroom through the Partners In Education program. To find out how to sponsor a class or how to get your classroom NIE program funded, call Joann Steinmetz at 716-849-3477. Or you can e-mail Joann at jsteinmetz@buffnews.com.
