Capacitive touch screen can be used with conductive stylus which is specifically designed for it. Capacitive touch screen creates an electric field and senses the disturbance caused by your finger or conductive stylus when it moves in the electric field. Capacitive touch screen does not react to sheer mechanical pressure created by non conductive stylus.
