– [ Top ] Yes, a curfew for Monticello was established under Ordinance 89-24 and applies to all people under the age of 18. Curfew is 10:30 PM to 6 AM Sunday thru Thursday and Midnight to 6 AM Friday and Saturday. There are two exceptions to the curfew: A person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or another responsible companion at least 18 years who is approved by the parent or legal guardian. The second exception is where the under aged person is engaged in a business or occupation as authorized by State of Illinois laws.
