Does the distance from the sun cause earths seasons?

0

The distance from the sun does not affect the seasons. The tilting of the earth affects the seasons. When the earth orbits the sun, the northern hemisphere is tilted to the sun so we have summer. Half a year later the northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun, causing times to be cooler and thus winter. In between is when there is fall and spring.
