Does the Game Boy Player work with game paks with special features, like rumble pak, infrared, or tilt sensors?
• The rumble feature game paks will fit, though the Nintendo GameCube may be uneven. The rumble feature itself should be disabled by either turning the feature off in game’s options or by removing the battery. • The infrared feature is not available, due to the lack of an infrared port on the Game Boy Player. • Due to the way the tilt sensor works, it is impractical to play Kirby’s Tilt and Tumble, or Wario Ware: Twisted. • Can I remove the Game Boy Player once I have attached it? Yes, simply unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the Game Boy Player, by twisting them counter-clockwise using a flat-bladed screwdriver or a coin. Be sure to re-attach the High Speed Port cover you removed earlier when you first attached the Game Boy Player. • Do I have to have a Game Boy system to use the Game Boy Player? Unless you would like to play multiplayer games, there is no need to have a Game Boy system of any kind in order to use the Game Boy Player to play Game Boy games on your TV screen. • C
