Does the GroundHog MAX work on hard and / or rough ground?
Yes. If your terrain is “difficult” the GroundHog MAX will work. It just takes more passes. The GroundHog MAX works well on hard, dry, rocky, grassy or any combination terrain. For best results plow in a combination of oblong circles, figure eights, and straight rows back and forth. The new improved, fully assembled, 10-9-8-inch notched-disc GroundHog MAX is 30 % more aggressive than our original design. Here’s why our system works when others don’t: Maximum downward force – The plow is mounted directly under the ATV’s rear-end and uses the weight of the ATV and driver to achieve direct down pressure. Maximum ground penetration – 2 inner 10-inch, 2 middle 9-inch, and 2 outer 8-inch notched-disc blades on each side penetrate quickly and turns under ground clutter at a faster pace. This design provides an aggressive cut no matter the terrain.
