DOES THE HIRER HAVE TO BE ABOVE A CERTAIN AGE LIMIT?
Yes, for all vehicles (except the Tipper and 7.5t vehicles) the driver must be aged between 23 and 69 years of age and held a full clean driving license for a minimum of 2 years for insurance purposes. Should the driver not meet requirements it may be possible to still obtain necessary insurance by paying a small premium. Please contact us for confirmation of details. IS THERE AN EXCESS? All prices include fully comprehensive insurance, which carries an excess of £500 if the driver is over 25 years of age. If aged between 21 to 25 the excess rises to £750. IS IT POSSIBLE TO REDUCE THE EXCESS? Yes, the excess can be reduced to £100 by taking out the optional Collision Damage Waiver upon booking. We reserve the right not to offer the CDW in certain circumstances i.e. on all 7.5t vehicles. WHAT DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED? All vans require a deposit of £100, either by cash or cheque.
