Does The Home Stylist decorate like the TV show Trading Spaces?
Not really. Trading Spaces makes total transformations and even constructs furniture with sometimes questionable results. The Home Stylist focuses on using the furniture and accessories you already have so there will never be horrible surprises. I may make suggestions for furniture purchases and paint colors, but ultimately you make the choices. If I was to name a show I am most like it would be HGTV’s Decorating Cents or Design on a Dime. The one and only similarity to Trading Spaces is that I also completely clear the room before I begin redesigning your room. This is a critical step in all decorating.
