Does the Imagine Engine need a public IP address, or need to be in a DMZ?

0

No. All essential network traffic from the Engine stays on the local area network. The Engine does need to be able to connect to our central server periodically for updates, but it does not need to be outside of a firewall. Typically, our Engine can hit our central server through a proxy, if necessary.
