Does the Inground Safety Shelter offer any sort of lighting?
Absolutely! An easy to use, battery powered LED light system comes standard with all Inground Safety Shelter purchases. It is also highly recommended to keep an emergency kit in your shelter, with a battery operated flashlight as a part of the emergency kit. Many times, even after a severe storm or Tornado, the power or electricity could be out of service for some period of time. The flashlight makes for double use after the storm if this is the case. As with all battery operated products such as your smoke detectors, ensure to check the batteries charge on a regular basis!
