Does the Inuit Relations Secretariat do any research?

0

A. The Secretariat is identifying research priorities and gaps, in consultation with other sectors of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, with Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami (ITK), other Inuit organizations and with other government departments by first establishing a database providing an overview of research relevant to Inuit. Once this citation database has been populated, research gaps will be identified and reviewed with stakeholders. A strategy will be devised which may or may not involve direct or indirect Inuit Relations Secretariat involvement.
