Does the Kaiser Permanente Student Health Insurance Plan cover preexisting conditions?
Yes. We believe the most important aspect of our plan is the lack of a preexisting condition clause. We understand that many students may have health conditions, and they deserve quality health insurance regardless of their condition. Preexisting conditions do not affect the cost of the plan, nor is coverage determined by the severity of the condition. Registered students are covered for all medical conditions while enrolled in the plan.
