Does the Lack of Forgiveness Endanger Gods Favor?
Faithful disciples are not to judge or condemn, but to forgive with a promise. Forgiving is not a one-way street, even from the Heavens. (Matthew 18:34-35; Luke 15:28-30; Colossians 3:13) Mark 11:25-26 reminds disciples that if they do not forgive, they will not be forgiven by God. You can see how the unwillingness to forgive easily becomes a bondage that won’t break. If you have struggled to get free of vices, attitudes, addictions, compulsions, and ongoing locked behaviors without success while your prayers seem to bear no fruit, you probably have a problem with forgiveness. Your personal heart attitude is the key to forgiveness. If you have an ordeal from the past that has been hidden for years, making it right is not always the answer. Make it right with God in prayer and cast it off. You don’t need to punish yourself with guilt, shame or fear. You need peace in your heart that only God can give, not demonic strongholds and footholds. You must be willing to let unresolved issues go
