Does the Library have any programs or services targeted for special age groups (Baby Boomers, Seniors)?
Torrance Public Library Lifelong Information Networks and Knowledge (LINK) is a grant-funded project designed to link Baby Boomers (individuals aged 46-64) with local community services and programs, and provide increased access to educational, informational, cultural, and recreational opportunities in the South Bay. The Library maintains a website with links to local resources, as well as a blog that is frequently updated; you may subscribe to the blog at http://torrancepubliclibrary.wordpress.com/; please scroll down the right-hand column to the section labeled “email subscription.” The Library also purchased special materials that are marked with a LINK label and the Library presents LINK programs on topics of interest to the Baby Boomer-aged population. Please check the Torrance Public Library Calendar of Events or the City of Torrance Events Calendar for LINK program listings.
