Does the Moses Center assist students with temporary impairments?
Generally, students with impairments lasting less than six months do not meet the definition of qualified disability in order to receive services from the Moses Center. Students with temporary mobility impairments living on campus, however, may request reimbursement (up to $75)) for transportation services with timely submission of documentation of temporary mobility impairment and transportation receipts to the Moses Center. • How do students request disability-related housing accommodations? New York University is committed to providing students with any medically necessary accommodations in their assigned housing. NYU, however, also has a housing shortage accompanied by a large number of requests for single occupancy housing and housing in the immediate Washington Square area.
