Yes! The 1600 model will work on any track or venue where drivers are talking on channels between 450-470 mtz. We have found that includes most of the teams and drivers. Occasionally, we run into a team talking in the 800 band, but it's rare. Also, last year, one of the drivers on the NASCAR circuit had interference on all the teams channels, so for one race (in Las Vegas) the team used a freq slightly below 450 mhz. In a rare case like that, the 1600 would not pick up that team.
