Does the nominee mentioned in the application form have to be the same as that in the demat account?
Yes. The nomination should be the same as given in the demat account. In case the nomination details provided by the Unit holder in the application form vary, the nomination details as per his demat account will prevail. • If I apply for the units during the NFO period through a switch transactions can I get the units in demat form? Yes. To enable the same the Unit holder will have to provide the demat account details. He can attach the application form with the transaction slip. The DP details can be mentioned in the relevant space provided in the application form. • What happens in case of death of the unit holder? In case the units are held in physical form the transmission policy in force for HDFC Mutual Fund will be applicable. In case the units are held in demat form the Unit holder will have to comply with the guidelines formulated for transmission by the respective DP’s. • What will happen in case any application for switch-in results in units being allotted in decimal places?
