Does the Norwegian Media cover Israel objectively and without bias?
On January 14th, Aftenposten published an article on media bias uncovered by media analysts at Retriever at the request of the national television company NRK. The analysis examined more than 2000 articles, commentaries and editorials as well as TV and radio programmes. Retriever’s findings suggested that media was biased in favor of the Palestinians, with Dagbladet being the most biased newspaper. In Dagbladet 32% of the articles were biased in favor of the Palestinians, with only 2% biased in favor of Israel and the remainig 66% unbiased. The breakdown for other media channels runs as in the table below and all numbers expressing percentages.
