Yes. I always work with an assistant that also doubles up as a second shooter. This is particularly useful when we want to tell the story from the beginning of the day from both (bride and groom) sides. By bringing an assistant, it also allows me to bring extra equipment (such as lighting, studio set up...etc.) and ensure that I can cover the extensive array of events throughout the day as well.
