The skirt is more of an A-line skirt, so it doesn't have the tendency to flip up or twirl like a fuller, gathered skirt would. If the waistline fits somewhat snuggly (though a tight fit isn't necessary) the swimsuit will stay in place and not shift around or come up. The leggings are high rise in the waistline. The skirt floats just slightly underneath the water, but tends to move with the body and stay contained and modest. The skirt is very light-weight and doesn't hinder movement--even for active swimming! Our swimsuits have the look and coverage of a one-piece, yet the comfort and flexibility of a two-piece!  more
