Does The Smile Train help children with clefts in America?
Of course! Every year, more than 5,000 babies are born in America with clefts and often the first place the parents turn to for help is The Smile Train. We do more to help American children with clefts than any other organization in the world. This includes training and education for cleft surgeons, grants for hundreds of accredited cleft teams in every state in America, a public information program that reaches tens of millions of Americans as well as a broad range of support for patients and their families.
