Does the stallion owner have to live in Kentucky if the stallion stands in KY?
No. The Stallion must stand in Kentucky for the entire breeding season and the foal must be born in Kentucky. The stallion owner does NOT have to live in Kentucky to have foals certified. Are awards based on national ApHC points? No. The awards given out in the Open Show Program and Regional Show program are on a 6-5-4-3-2-1 point scale, with the number of points you receive depending on the number of entries in the class. KApOA was formed through the cooperation of all 3 regional KY Appaloosa Horse clubs. The Saddle Log program was created in the interest of the West KY ApHC, which consists mainly of trail riders.
